Last week, I had the pleasure of representing Labellink at WineOS, a prestigious wine industry exhibition held in Osijek, Croatia. For me, this was not just another event—it was the first time in years that I exhibited in my home country, making it both a personal and professional milestone.
A Vibrant Community of Winemakers
WineOS brought together wineries and wine enthusiasts from across Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia, and other Central and Eastern European countries. The energy was incredible, and the high-quality organisation and venue provided the perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations and connections.
At Labellink, we see ourselves as more than just a solution provider—we are a committed member of the winemaking community. It was inspiring to connect with so many talented professionals and passionate enthusiasts who share our vision for the future of wine.
Sharing Labellink’s Vision
At our stand, I had the opportunity to personally introduce attendees to Labellink’s innovative solutions designed to empower wineries in the digital era:
- E-labels for premium wines: With the motto “Put your winery’s ambassador in every QR code!”, our e-labels allow every bottle to tell the story of its origins, passion, and craftsmanship—wherever it is enjoyed.
- Transition to GS1 QR codes and standards: We showcased how wineries can streamline operations, synchronise data across supply chains, and prepare for a future powered by AI tools.
- The Wine Stock Market platform: In collaboration with Zdjelarević, this platform highlights how wineries can innovate and adapt to modern market dynamics.
Event Highlights
One of the most rewarding parts of the event was engaging with renowned wineries and initiating conversations about potential collaborations. I was thrilled to connect with Sauska, Erdutski vinogradi, Kutjevo, Korta Katarina, Iločki Podrumi, Deurić, and many others. These discussions are already paving the way for exciting future projects.
We also had the privilege of welcoming notable visitors to our stand, including celebrity chef and TV host Stevo Karapandža, YouTuber Paul Bradbary, chef Željko Neven Bremec, and a host of Zdjelarević’s partners. Their enthusiasm added to the vibrant atmosphere of the event and underscored the community spirit of WineOS.
Looking Forward
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Thomas Butorovic of Labellink for his invaluable support in organising our participation and for communicating our solutions with such energy and positivity. A special thanks also goes to Davor Zdjelarević for his collaboration on The Wine Stock Market platform and for presenting Labellink with such passion and clarity to a diverse audience.
WineOS was not just an exhibition—it was a celebration of innovation, community, and shared passion for wine. I left Osijek inspired and even more motivated to continue contributing to the future of winemaking through Labellink’s innovative solutions. Here’s to many more opportunities to connect and grow together!
